William Hess, owner of Ugly Robe, LLC.

I've always enjoyed problem solving and learning new things.

After many years of working with software, I decided to try making physical products that exists outside the digital ether of a computer screen.  Not only did I want to design a product, but I also wanted see what it would take to manufacture it.

Working with different technology and manufacturing approaches has made it obvious that there are many issues that can quickly sink a project. Because of these issues, I've had to try new things and deviate from the traditional approaches.

I look forward to sharing these ideas and how they are made.
